Miami’s vibrant culinary scene takes center stage once again as the Miami Spice Restaurant Months return from August 1 through September 30, 2025. Organized by the Greater Miami Convention & Visitors Bureau (GMCVB), the annual event invites both locals and visitors to indulge in a curated selection of prix-fixe menus at discounted prices across some of the city’s most celebrated dining destinations.
Now in its 24th year, Miami Spice continues to spotlight the diversity and creativity that define South Florida’s restaurant landscape. From high-end steakhouses and waterfront gems to trendy neighborhood bistros and Latin-American kitchens, more than 200 restaurants are participating in this year’s edition—many of which are helmed by renowned chefs and boast prestigious accolades, including Michelin stars.
Affordable Luxury: Prix-Fixe Dining at Its Best
The Miami Spice program offers three-tier pricing for lunch, brunch, and dinner:
$35 for lunch or brunch
$45 or $60 for dinner
These fixed prices include a three-course meal featuring an appetizer, entrée, and dessert. Tax, tip, and beverages are not included, but the real appeal lies in the opportunity to experience award-winning cuisine at a fraction of its usual cost.
“Miami Spice is more than a promotion—it’s a celebration of the culinary excellence that makes Miami a world-class destination,” said David Whitaker, President & CEO of the GMCVB. “We’re proud to support our local restaurants while giving guests an unbeatable way to explore the flavors of Greater Miami.”
Michelin Stars at a Discount
Among the standout participants this year are several restaurants recognized in the Michelin Guide, making Miami Spice 2025 an especially appealing time for food lovers on a budget. These include:
COTE Miami (Michelin one star): A sleek Korean steakhouse in the Design District, offering expertly grilled meats and signature cocktails.
Le Jardinier (Michelin one star): Located in the Miami Design District, this French-inspired restaurant is known for its vegetable-forward approach and elegant atmosphere.
Stubborn Seed (Michelin one star): Chef Jeremy Ford’s modern American eatery in South Beach remains a favorite for its inventive, seasonal tasting menus.
Los Félix (Michelin one star): A Coconut Grove gem serving traditional Mexican fare with a focus on sustainability and heritage corn.
Other notable restaurants participating include Zuma, Byblos, Amara at Paraiso, The Surf Club Restaurant, and Fiola—each offering unique Miami Spice menus that capture their culinary ethos.
Neighborhood Flavors:
From Coral Gables to Wynwood
Beyond the high-profile names, Miami Spice shines in its ability to showcase the rich multicultural influences of the region. Whether you’re in the mood for Haitian dishes in Little Haiti, Cuban classics in Little Havana, or Peruvian ceviche in Coral Gables, the program serves as a passport to Miami’s most authentic culinary enclaves.
In Wynwood, known for its street art and creative culture, restaurants like Beaker & Gray and Doya are offering special menus that reflect the area’s bold, experimental spirit.
Meanwhile, in Brickell and Downtown Miami, upscale spots like La Mar by Gastón Acurio and The Capital Grille provide a more refined urban dining experience—perfect for a business lunch or a romantic evening.
A Culinary Boost for the Local Economy
Miami Spice is more than just a food festival; it’s also a strategic initiative to support the local restaurant industry during the traditionally slower summer months. With tourism surging during the winter season, restaurants often see a dip in bookings from July to September.
“Miami Spice brings diners through the doors at a time when it’s most needed,” said Karla Martinez, general manager of a participating Coral Gables eatery. “It helps restaurants keep staff employed, attract new customers, and show off their best dishes.”
According to the GMCVB, previous editions of Miami Spice have generated millions of dollars in revenue for the local economy and helped increase visibility for both established and emerging chefs.
Community, Charity,
and Culinary Discovery
This year’s edition also includes a partnership with Camillus House, a non-profit organization dedicated to serving the homeless and vulnerable populations in Miami. Some participating restaurants will donate a portion of proceeds from their Miami Spice menus to the charity.
Additionally, diners can visit the official Miami Spice website—miamiandbeaches.com/spice—to browse participating restaurants by location, cuisine, price point, and special offerings like vegetarian or gluten-free options. Online reservations are highly recommended, especially at popular venues and Michelin-starred spots.
A Time to Explore and Indulge
Whether you’re a seasoned foodie or simply looking for a special night out, Miami Spice offers an unmatched opportunity to explore Miami’s culinary richness without breaking the bank. It’s a time when luxury becomes accessible and local talent shines.
As the summer heat rises, so does the flavor—making Miami Spice 2025 a must for anyone who wants to taste the heart and soul of this ever-evolving city.
