As we have been reporting, it’s forecast to be sunny yet cool today, with afternoon tempertures in the low 70s.
Expect temperatures to fall into the upper 40s tonight, at least inland, west of Florida’s Turnpike. Friday night might not be quite as cold, but some areas near the Everglades could see readings in the 40s again.
North and Central Florida are shivering. A freeze warning has been issued for the northern part of the state, including the panhandle. Temperatures are predicted to plunge into the upper 20s tonight in Tallahassee.
