AARP teams up with The Employment Guide for a job fair 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday at The African-American Research Library and Cultural Center, 2650 Sistrunk Blvd., Fort Lauderdale.
Employers are expected to include Kaplan University, Aflac Insurance, Florida Career College, Verizon Wireless, Dollar General, Convergys, W Hotel and the U.S. Army.
Entry level to experience positions available, along with management opportunities in customer service, health care, sales, telemarketing, law enforcement, insurance, retail and skilled trades. Admission and parking is free.
